Hi! We’re Lauren and Chris - a couple in our mid-twenties who just took the exciting (and slightly terrifying) leap into first-time homeownership. We recently bought our very first house, a charming house full of character, quirks, and so much potential. Now we’re on a mission to turn it into a cosy, lived-in home while preserving its original charm.

By day, I (Lauren) work in digital marketing and e-commerce, and by night, you’ll usually find me deep in a Pinterest rabbit hole, dreaming up home upgrade ideas and collecting all the inspo. Chris is a truck driver with a love for the open road and all things car-related. When he’s not behind the wheel, we’re usually out spontaneously adventuring, hiking, or cycling somewhere new.

This blog is our little space to document our journey: from DIY home projects and design ideas to weekend getaways and everyday life. We’re learning as we go and sharing the ups, downs, and everything in between.
